Project24

Mission

Soccer Vision Academy is in the process of launching its PROJECT24. The goal is to start this program in August 2010. This will entail recruiting 24 of some of the best 6 and 7 year-old boys and girls. The goal will be to have 12 boys and 12 girls in each group. The players who are chosen will train once a week at a designated site and from time to time will be exposed to various mediums to enhance their technique and skill set.

Goal

Our Project24 program was launched in August 2010. The goal is to attract 6 and 7 year-old boys and girls and further develop them. Like the older teams these players train twice a week. Those players who prove themselves to be a step above their teammates are encouraged to train with the older teams once a week. To date we have seen tremendous growth and development in our young players due to this program. The many lessons learned from the various international trips have been incorporated into this program and we have been experiencing tremendous success to date.

Benefits

1. The players will be exposed to a soccer environment they have never seen before.

2. The players will train with highly qualified professional coaches.

3. From time to time the players will also be exposed to some of SVA’s top young coaches who have been through the academy as former players and are now either playing at the collegiate level or presently coaching.

4. The parents of the players will be constantly educated on the game, vision and goals of the academy.

5. The players will have the opportunity to develop into elite players in the future.

6. The players will have the opportunity to play in the Niles Indoor League as well as internal 4v4 tournaments.

7. Reduced cost to all future SVA camps.
